Stocks in the tech sector have produced huge returns over the last five years but that could come to an end in 2022. Three factors are lining up against tech stocks and returns have already slowed this year. Making money on tech stocks next year will mean knowing which stocks will benefit from the market’s biggest forces.

In this video, I’ll show you the outlook for tech stocks in 2022 including three factors weighing on the sector. I’ll then share two technology ETFs to watch for clues into the sector and reveal the seven tech stocks to buy for higher returns.

Tech stocks are hugely expensive, trading at a 54% premium to the long-term price multiple. That doesn’t automatically mean tech or any stock will fall but it does mean one of three catalysts like the semiconductor shortage, higher wages or interest rates could bring an end to the bull market.

I still like tech stocks in semiconductors, software applications and ecommerce for 2022. These three industries could be your best chance at booking another year of strong, double-digit returns in technology.
