Does not work Ace stream? How to change the account name
Hello friends. In his video "How to watch free channels in HD" I talked about the possibility of watching TV through the browser, phone and android consoles. But in some viewers this program for some reason did not work. I decided to understand this issue and in this video I will show what the reasons may be and how to make Ace stream work. And so let's go.
The first reason may be incorrect installation of the program. Under the influence of some non-driven forces (firewall, antivirus, errors, etc.) the program may be incorrectly installed and accordingly will not work correctly. For correct deletion, we close all browsers, close the program in the lower right corner, look for Ace stream HD, right click on the icon, press the exit. Open the explorer (view-parameters-view the hidden files) and go to the address C: \ Users \ your account \ AppData \ Roaming and select the folder ACEStream. Open and look for the Uninstall file. Run and wait for the complete removal of the program, and then delete the folders ACEStream and .ACEStream. Reboot the PC. After rebooting, disable the antivirus, firewall and reinstall the Ace stream. If the program still does not work, then we move on to the second reason.
We go to drive C to the users folder and look at the name of your account. For some reason, Ace stream refuses to work if there is Cyrillic (Russian letters) in the way of finding the program. To do this, you and I need to change the account name. Enable the administrator account. We right-click on the "Start" button and find the Administrator command line. Enter the command net user Administrator / active: yes if you do not have a Russian-language Windows, then the word "Administrator" in the Latin script Administrator. Then we leave our account and go under the Administrator. We right-click on the "Start" button and find "Computer Management". Select "Local Users" - "Users" and rename your account Latin (English letters) and close the window. Next, go to the folder C: \ Users \ your account and rename the same name. And the last stage is corrected in the registry. Press Win + K and enter regedit. In the registry, go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ ProfileList section. We find our account and change it. That's all. To disable the administrator account on the command line, write net user Administrator / active: no. We reboot the PC and install the program. Everything works great.
