GOD'S PROMISE - YOUR PURPOSE!
Numbers 23:19 says," God is not One that can tell a lie…
My brothers and sisters, God's Word cannot go void. If God says it - it is so. God's Word has all power! God's Word is living and will manifest within you as a spiritual truth and in the world as a physical reality.
As soon as God says it is so. God proved the power of God's spoken Word through creation! I am confident that God created the heavens and the earth! Whether you believe in the biblical narration of creation or the scientific Big Bang Theory, it does not matter; God did it! All of creation belongs to God. When God said let there be light, there was light! The sun and the moon took form! When God said let there be life, God's Word flew through the air, swam in the seas, and traversed the lands. Just mere words ignited life.
If God says it, that's it; it's done! Just because we did not claim a promise from God does not mean God told a lie. It's simply that we did not choose God's Promise - appropriate to the depth of our faith and the fortitude of our spirit.
Imagine, if you will, that there are two doors. One door is labeled Promise, and the other door is labeled Maybe. Behind the door of Promise is your Purpose, and behind the door of Maybe is a room full of maybe friends, maybe relationship, maybe love, and maybe wealth. Now the door of Promise tends to be on the mountaintop, while the door of Maybe tends to be right in front of us. Now to get to the mountaintop to open the door of Promise, we've got to climb Mount Faith. And to get there takes some work. We've got to labor and suffer cold nights and the heat of the day. We've got to walk those rocky roads and winding pathways - meander around boulders and rocks, avoid unforeseen cliffhangers and landslides. And even when we get to the mountaintop, it's cold, cloudy, and windy. Even though the door says Maybe, many choose that door because it's easy and walk into a room full of maybes. - because we don't trust the Promise of Purpose and rather listen to our saboteur. The saboteur will convince you that you are too weak for the work and that there is no purpose waiting for you on Mount Faith. Many choose the door of Maybes to find a space full of doubt, fear, and what-ifs. And just because you chose the door to doubt rather than the entrance to Purpose, power, provision, possibility, and positive people does not mean God's Promise of Purpose is not a reality. It simply means that you decided to go through the door of Maybe - rather than ascend to the mountaintop and open the door of God’s Promise and your purpose. ~ William Bean
