Continuous Access evaluation – User critical events evaluation
Continuous access evaluation (CAE) integration with Power Platform Dataverse environments helps Dataverse continuously evaluate both user’s critical events and Conditional access policy like IP location policy near real time thereby enforcing the user to re-authenticate to continue with existing sessions.
Power Platform services like Dataverse proactively terminate active user sessions and enforce tenant policy changes in near real time, instead of relying on access token lifetime. CAE helps in mitigating risks related to insider threats, Data exfiltration, unauthorized access to Power Platform services like Dataverse, and provides resiliency to Power Platform services with long-lived tokens.
