Ligpo Island is located a little north of Mabini and is just a 30-minute boat ride from Blue Ribbon. The island, which is often missed by other operators, is a stunning example of what Anilao has to offer apart from muck diving. In the shallows, there is a soft coral reef rich in marine life. Razor fish are found in abundance living in their upside-down world, where turtles are also often found happily munching on the various coral. Multiple species of anenomies, often very large, are also abundant in the reef. Once you venture deeper than 15 meters, a huge wall covered in gorgonian sea fans can be found, which has multiple cracks and goes down to 35 meters in some places. This is one of the favorite dive sites that people go back to every week!
