In this forum, Drs. Amantia Ametaj and Dr. Kristina Korte discuss ways to manage uncomfortable emotions that inevitably arise for almost all of us when coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and the needed public health measures to contain it. They provide a brief review of why uncomfortable emotions may come up, how to better understand what you are feeling, and ways to ground yourself in the moment. This presentation is followed by a review of some exercises everyone can try at home and the rationale behind how they can be used. The forum concludes with a question and answer session moderated by Dr. Archana Basu.
