Config Ceph CRUSH Map & Rule
Ceph CRUSH map and rule determine how Ceph distributes data to disks in the cluster according to your infrastructure. Data can survive if multiple servers, racks or even datacenter fail. Ambedded UVS manager enables the administrator to define and configure the CRUSH map and rule. For example, if you have twelve Mars 400 appliances evenly installed in four racks, you can define a CRUSH rule to tell Ceph saves every replication to one of the disks in a chassis that is installed in different racks. This allows two rack fails without data loss for a replica 3 pool setup.
