Press Conference: Celebrating the Inaugural Juneteenth Holiday - 06/15/23

Senate President Bobby Joe Champion (DFL-Minneapolis) and Representative Ruth Richardson (DFL-Mendota Heights) host a press conference to mark the first annual State of Minnesota Juneteenth celebration. Speakers include: Governor Tim Walz, Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic (DFL-Minneapolis), St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter and community leaders and other elected officials.
The event previously set for the state capitol lawn, has been moved indoors due to air quality concerns.
