The good news is that I can see the light at the end of the Vertrusian tunnel, but Wartales isn't going to let me be without a few more twists and turns. Some of them do involve a thunderstorm, sure, but we also have a little bit of work to do with improving our gear before setting out into new providences. And that will be a big decision for another day. As for now, we continue to be wanted but hopefully can do a better job of dodging patrols. They'll never find us in the city streets, that's for sure.
Wartales has DNA from a lot of other games, including Battle Brothers, Kenshi, and Mount and Blade. It's well worth the price right now and I'm excited to see where this game goes towards release. Intimated as hell, yes. But excited.
