Skill and Support Gem Levels in Path of Exile | Gem Level Effects and Mechanics
Questions about how skill gems level up in Path of Exile seem to come up a lot. The most common ones I see are "Do I need to use my skills to level them?" and "Does having more gems in my gear lower the amount of experience they each get?". There are a few others that occasionally come up and I tried to answer them all in this one short video.
