Naughty Jessi
Every day, when I sit down to read the newspaper, our lovable pup Jessi assumes it's her cue to join me and guarantee that I don't have a moment of peace. She seemed to have a strange objection to my reading it. No matter how gently I nudge her away, she returns, making herself at home right in the centre of the paper, as if to tell me that her desire for attention comes first. Jessi's steadfast quest to be the centre of our universe is charming as well as humorous.
