Security is a extensive problem when using ARP. Also known as ARP poisoning, ARP spoofing is a cyber attack that is carried out over a Local Area Network (LAN) that sends malicious ARP packets to a default gateway on a LAN. The purpose is for attackers to disguise where their IP address is coming from so they can attack your devices for malicious purposes.
