The Hydra provides unparalleled 360° detection by combining Thermal Radar with a color and laser/IR-illuminated pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera for continuous and targeted surveillance. When Thermal Radar detects a threat, it sends automatic slew-to-cue commands to the PTZ, providing immediate confirmation and optical identification of the threat.

While Thermal Radar continuously scans the perimeter, our sophisticated analytics assess each detection and directs the PTZ on target upon qualifying the threat as an intruder or fire. Real-time alerts, including video, can then be transmitted for evaluation based on customer preference and pursuant to security protocols.

The Hydra operates as a Virtual Sentry – providing autonomous threat detection and continuous perimeter protection.

This exciting combination is compatible with both the Thermal Radar 3- and 6-series and can integrates within Video Management Systems.
