As the population ages across the globe, governments, researchers, and businesses often focus on the increased incidence of chronic diseases and strategies to manage these age-related chronic conditions. But a leading group of scientists is focusing efforts on how to prevent these diseases in the first place or reverse them when they arise. This session will explore the latest research in the biology of aging and the relationship between aging and age-related diseases, and translate these scientific findings into useful approaches to improve the health of older populations. The session will also discuss the opportunities and challenges of investing in scientific longevity solutions.
