Padlet is like an electronic corkboard where students can add pictures, videos, links etc. It is great for brainstorming, for sharing ideas, for group work and project work. You can also use it to create timelines, you can use it as an online back channel tool or you can use it for ranking , rating and marking content. Padlet now has a range of great tools that allow students to upload content and the other students can rank, rate or even grade comments and contributions. This supports really in-depth collaboration online. These are new features that were recently introduced. This is a massive step from the original tool which was called WallWisher.
Padlet complete training in advanced features. This will take you through some of the key advanced features . Padlet is great for collaboration and getting students to work together on group projects or collaborative tasks. If you are a teacher and like doing group work, task based and collaborative tasks then Padlet can really facilitate that. It allows students to collaborate both in and out of the class. I use it a lot for brainstorming, sharing ideas, discussions and debating issues. It means all the information is collected in one place. A really useful free tool for both teachers and students. In this video you will learn
How students/participants can add comments onto contributions
