Amazon Email Scam: Your Membership Was Declined - Update your billing information
I got this email that looked like it came from Amazon - it was very convincing. I almost fell for this phishing scam. Within a few hours, Apple or Google or whoever figured out this was a scam and put up warning signs, but when I clicked the email, I came very close to giving the scammers my username and password to my Amazon account.
So I wanted to share the experience here.
