Hi friends! Today we're trying out stone paper. Yep - it's made from rocks. I have to say it definitely took me out of my comfort zone but it was really fun to experiment with! Thanks to my Instagram friends who gave me suggestions for all the lil fish friends.

Stone Paper and sustainability: Stone paper has a lot going for it! It doesn't require trees to be cut down, reuses material, and requires less processing (energy and chemicals) than regular paper which is great for reducing carbon footprint. BUT I found out that most stone paper uses a type of plastic as a binder which means it's not fully biodegradable. Most stone paper is recyclable and stone paper from many brands is photo-degradable. If being sustainable and eco-friendly is important to you, please do your research and weigh the pros and cons.
