Shock Treatment to Count & Measure Fish in Area Lake
Our 4H fishing club meets every Sunday. Today we had a demo from Game & Parks with their shock boat. They do this to estimate number, size and species of fish in a lake. The boat has extension arms in the water that send out an electric current which stuns the fish so they are able to scoop them up into a holding tank.
