Some people believe that Illymations went too far by flagging. However, TBYS had cultivated a following of people who were willing to send hate toward Illymations. When Illymations tried to get the video removed, she was doxxed. While flagging a video can be seen as a way of harming someone's job, the context of this situation shows that Illymations was trying to reduce the spread of hate rather than just flagging the video out of spite.
