The vessel used in this animation is equipped with two controllable pitch propellers together with a bow thrust unit.The Mediterranean Moor allows the vessel to berth stern to the quayside when quay space is restricted.The approach to the mooring can be from either port or starboard side to the quay, at a distance off about one and half ship's lengths.
