Install KDE Desktop Environment on Linux Mint 13/14
Install KDE Desktop Environment on Linux Mint 13/14 :
You can give either of these commands below. In the video above, I've choosen KDE Plasma Desktop.
To install KDE Full ( compelete KDE software compilation ), give the command :
sudo apt-get install kde-full
To install KDE Standard ( comes with Plasma Desktop and few selected popular softwares) :
sudo apt-get install kde-standard
To install only plasma desktop ( comes with plasma desktop and few minimal software ot packages) give the command :
sudo apt-get install kde-plasma-desktop
