BCT 2001 (Breast MRI Evaluation) is an Australian study which will enrol at least 400 patients. It is open to women diagnosed with breast cancer and where the medical treatment team suggest that a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the breast will help plan treatment. This study aims to find out if a having a breast MRI after being diagnosed with breast cancer might change plans for treating the breast cancer and how this might affect patient outcomes.
