How to Permanently Turn Off Compatibility Mode in Microsoft Word
In this video, we are going to learn how to permanently prevent Microsoft Word from opening documents in Compatibility mode.
When you launch the MS Word desktop application and select a new or any existing document, Word opens it automatically in Compatibility mode. You can see it on the top of your screen - there’s the name of the document and right behind is displayed “Compatibility mode.” This is caused by older versions of Word previously installed on your computer. However, it can cause formatting and functionality issues for newer software versions.
