Apple iMac 2019 - How good is it?
How good is the 2019 Apple iMac? Well, I’ve got my hands on an i9 8 Core model, and in this video I give it a workout to see what the performance is like, and how it compares to the iMac Pro units that I use - is the iMac Pro really worth that extra cash?
You can see the benchmarks and also a real world view of how the unit actually operates - I’ve compared it with the 2018 i7 6 core Mac mini as well as against my iMac Pro.
I load the machine to look at thermal throttling to see if it is likely to overheat - so if you’re potentially after one of these units, and want to see what it’s about - this is the video for you.

As a quick side note - the normal models of these come with Fusion drives. Really Apple? Spinning drives at this price-point? In 2019. Come on.
