MIGRATION: "Unacceptable!" - Poland's Prime Minister Tusk's sharp criticism of German border controls
The German government's plans to introduce temporary border controls have been met with sharp criticism from Poland. Prime Minister Donald Tusk called the approach unacceptable and referred to a de facto suspension of the Schengen Agreement. Austria also reacted negatively: Interior Minister Gerhard Karner stressed that he did not want to accept any rejected persons from Germany. The temporary border controls could cause tensions in Europe.
