This poor pitbull rescued by The Voiceless Dogs of Nassau, Bahamas:
"About two months ago, I was asked to help a pitbull that was hit by a car. When I arrived to the place where he was at, this sweet and sad boy was being dragged by the heaviest of chains.
I thought Sawyer was hit by a car that day...but no...it happened 3 weeks earlier, and like that this bastard kept him chained to a tree, with a leg totally shattered in several pieces, and without any medical care whatsoever.
Sawyer saw 2 vets already, and things are really bad for him.
Besides the broken leg, he has a huge mass near his heart.
The vet gave him doxycycline that he needs to finish, as he is also high Ehrlichia positive, and then he will start HW treatment, before the worms kill him.
One week after rescued: The beds we purchased finally arrived. My sweet Sawyer immediately knew what his gift was meant for..
And today: This beautiful, brave boy is now receiving the medical care he deserves, and his best life is just beginning. Look at the sparkle in his eyes after being in the States for just 3 days! Please continue prayers for him."
