David burned Artyom alive and received only 5 years in prison
In Moscow, the court considered the case concerning the murder of a 14-year-old teenager.
The incident occurred on June 5, 2023, at a playground in Chechersky Passage. A 16-year-old teenager doused a 14-year-old friend with a flammable liquid, and then set him on fire. The boy suffered burns of varying severity and died in hospital a short time later.
The GSU of the IC in Moscow added: A criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident under the article "Murder committed with extreme cruelty." As part of the investigation, more than 40 witnesses were questioned, and a number of examinations were conducted, including forensic and psychological-psychiatric. The young man pleaded not guilty.
The court sentenced him to five years in prison in an educational colony.
