Instrument Rack in Ableton Live 12 - Tutorial
Welcome to another tutorial for music production! In this tutorial, I will teach you how to make a decent instrument rack. This is a component in which you can add multiple instruments and play sounds simultaneously. Although it does not provide individual MIDI tracks for each instrument, a cool thing is that you can also add an instrument rack inside an instrument rack.
In Ableton Live, an instrument rack is defined as a component that allows user to place instruments and limit their ranges in MIDI editor, it can also have velocity ranges, the quieter notes will only belong to a specific instrument etc. The more the instruments, the more colorful will the sound spectrum be. This component is useful for making an orchestral track for film music, but also for gaming music.
