In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Hon. Brig. Dr. Anil Kohli in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is a Dental Surgeon and Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Awardee and - Former President of the Dental Council Of India.
In today’s episode, we discussed how he became the Prime Minister’s dentist, why oral care is important for everyone, what happens to people who ignore their dental care, and how snoring leads to divorce and various serious health issues. We then discussed how safe oil-pulling techniques, Dant Manjan, and baking powder are, which dangerous diseases are caused due to poor oral care, and how dentists can tell if someone has HIV.
Towards the end, we talked about three oral symptoms people should never avoid, how we can keep our saliva healthy, and how mental health issues are linked with oral care. We also discussed what can kids with crooked teeth do to better their teeth and four things we all should do to keep our oral health healthy.
