Bangladesh on the Boil, with Dr. Richard Benkin
Each day brings fresh outrage from Bangladesh. Its interim government seeks to downplay this religiously driven bigotry as “political”, “exaggerated” or manufactured by India, even as temples are burnt, monks are arrested and denied bail, while the nation’s indigenous Hindus deal with the loss of jobs, homes, dignity and basic safety.
But is any of this new? What makes this time different and what can be done to help this beleaguered minority community?
Hear directly from Bangladeshi Hindus and Dr. Richard Benkin, noted Human Rights activist, author and lecturer who has spent decades fighting to bring attention to the this slow genocide.
