In this video, I have broken down the six examples regarding using rowspan & colspan. You can easily split or merge cells in an HTML if you know the concept of rowspan & colspan. They are nothing but they are just imaginary cells. These imaginary cells are being used to merge or split cells in an HTML table.

HTML tables are a structured way to organize data, composed of rows, columns, and cells. Attributes like rowspan and colspan allow for merging, splitting, and spanning cells across rows and columns. The rowspan attribute determines the number of rows a cell should span, while colspan specifies the number of columns. Using these attributes, cells can be merged into larger ones or split into smaller ones to create complex table layouts or display data in specific ways. To merge cells, simply identify the cells to merge and specify the number of rows or columns they should span. For example, to merge two cells into one, use the rowspan and colspan attributes to set the size of the merged cell.
