6K/8K Sony Mirrorless Camera! The Alpha to Surpass 4K Video!
The A7siii is Sony's top of the line video camera in their mirrorless lineup, but despite canon and Panasonic moving towards higher video resolutions, Sony stuck with 4k. Don't get me wrong, 4K is plenty, it is still more than enough in 2020 and years to come and, for a 4K camera, the A7siii is just about perfect. However, the resolution race is on and whether or not it's practical or necessary being beside the point for the video, Sony will have to up the resolution eventually. Here are my thoughts on this topic and why I believe we should expect to see Sony releasing a 4+K mirrorless camera in the generally near future (after the new "budget" Sony blogger full frame, the possible a7c, that I actually referenced in this video that was recorded over 2 weeks ago, but with another name.)
long story short, here are my thoughts on Sony's entrance into the higher resolution mirrorless market, hopefully they can keep things cool...
