On a Chery QQ car, the brake light does not work due to a breakdown of the brake light switch (toad). Before doing this, you need to check the fuse box for serviceability. They are located near the battery, closer to the car interior. Particular attention should be paid to fuses 9 and 10, which are responsible for the operation of the rear lights. These are 10 and 15 Amp fuses. To check the fuses, Cherie Cook will need a tester. A big advantage is the presence of special holes on the fuses for measurements. Then you need to check the serviceability of the brake light switch. To do this, you need to check the quality of closure of the switch contacts with a tester. On my car CHERY QQ, S11, with a robotic gearbox, a brake light switch FT 4543-88LC is installed. To remove the brake light switch, you must disconnect the negative battery cable from the vehicle's electrical power system and turn the switch half a turn to the right. Then disconnect the electrical connector and replace the switch in the reverse order. On my brake light switch, the cause of the breakdown was a contact burnout inside the part body.
