Locally Sourced Ethically Farmed Prisoners - Wartales 1.0 Expert - D&D in Vertruse - Let's Play #4
Although it has been significantly nerfed in Wartales, taking prisoners and returning them to jail is still a reliable way to make some quick coin and decrease suspicion. Turns out that on top of still being wanted for whisle blowing, this whole region is a society based off of people turning other people in for merit. There can certainly be no unintended or ill consequences of this. Still, we are inching the story ever forward while getting stronger and helping the locals. It's just that our team's bank account needs a little help too.
Wartales has DNA from a lot of other games, including Battle Brothers, Kenshi, and Mount and Blade. It's well worth the price right now and I'm excited to see where this game goes towards release. Intimated as hell, yes. But excited.
