ABOUT: In this http://www.autotoys.com installation, we show you an USB IPOD BLUETOOTH AUX Grom Interface in a 2001 BMW M5 E34. This is the same for all BMW 5 series up to the Fiber optic years, and all E39 cars. We also show you how we interfaced and used our special DSP conversion kit which converts digital signals back into analog for our USB/Ipod Interface. Some BMWs has DSP amplifiers, most do not. If you have any questions, visit our web site and email us. When wiring the DSP, it is especially important to power it to the right circuit otherwise it will be on all the time and drain your battery and keep the car's computer on. We show you exactly how we do this in our uncut video. In this car, we ran the 3.5 aux cable from the USB unit into the glove, mounted the BLUETOOTH module in the trunk and extended the bluetooth microphone to the front of the car, and we extended the USB cable to the front of the car and custom mounted it with an USB mount (optional part) in the center console cubby hole. The customer will then use the USB for hard drives, Thumbdrives and for streaming off his Android phone. This device has NATIVE USB Android streaming or it can be used with a customer Google Play AAILNQ Grom app. Text is supported on the radio. Steering wheel controls are supported. And we provide Bluetooth support for calls and A2DP and AVRCP control. We demonstrate all this in our video.
