Fresh droppings are characterized by a high level of stickiness. Therefore, it is very difficult to introduce it into the soil in this form. In addition, when fertilizing plants with fresh chicken droppings, the plants may get burned, which will negatively affect their growth and development. If you still decide to use the litter in dry form, then it must be crushed and mixed with a large amount of soil. In this case, no more than 50 grams of fertilizer must be applied per square meter of soil. The best option for using chicken manure is liquid fertilizer.
How to prepare fertilizer from chicken manure:
You need to take one bucket of fresh chicken manure and dilute it in one bucket of water, stir well;
To add additional potassium to the fertilizer, you need to add 0.5 liters of wood ash and mix everything well;
Cover the container with a lid and leave the resulting solution to ferment for 7 days in a warm place;
After 7 days, mix the fermented fertilizer well and dilute it with water in a ratio of 1:20 (0.5 liters of fertilizer per 10 liters of water);
No more than 1 bucket of fertilizer should be poured onto one square meter of land.
