The oil change in the engine of a Chery QQ car should be carried out on average every 10 thousand kilometers or 3 years of inactivity. Simultaneously with changing the oil, the engine oil filter is replaced. Signs that the engine oil needs to be changed are:
Change the color of the exhaust.
Change in consistency or color of the oil.
Change in the sound of the engine, the appearance of friction noise.
Changing the engine oil of a Chery QQ car is carried out in the following order:
Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.
Unscrew the plug in the engine sump. First you need to place some kind of container so that the oil does not spill.
Drain the old oil.
Clean the working parts of the plug from any chips that have accumulated on it.
Remove the oil filter.
Wait approximately 30 minutes for the oil to drain completely.
Tighten the engine sump drain bolt.
Install the new oil filter in its place.
Fill in new oil.
Remove the dipstick and check the oil level. Oil should be filled to the top mark of the dipstick, but no more.
