When RODE's beta firmware 1.3.2 was announced the main headline was the inclusion of RODE branded USB microphones working with the USB2 port. Everyone seemed to gloss over the improved boot time. In this video I test RODE's latest full release vs their beta firmware 1.3.2 to see just how much faster the device boots up.
How many microphones can you use with the RODECaster Pro 2 or the RODECaster Duo? With this new functionality, the RODECaster Pro 2 and the RODECaster Duo can now support one extra microphone via USB. This brings the total up to 4 on the Duo and 5 on the RCP2.
