Customized Odoobot for user support and training

Given the fast evolution of business processes and software tools, users need training and support constantly. The steady improvement of chatbot's capabilities opens new opportunities to streamline training and offer integrated support to users. Building upon Aroolla's line of serious games, where Odoo's chatbot guides the players through fulfilling challenging business scenarios, we can now help users learn how to perform tasks and have the user entrust basic tasks to the chatbot.

With its new brain, Odoobot is now able to help users in finding business information such as a specific manufacturing order (show me the MO0021 please), the price of a product (how much do we sell the Cattura Generoso Pods for?) or the balance of an account (what is our current net income?). The user can also ask the bot to do simple tasks such as changing the price of an article, plan a manufacturing order or confirm a purchase order. Finally, the bot can also teach the user to perform a task by showing the different steps required to carry it out and providing feedback along the way.

During this presentation, participants will learn how we implemented and trained a chatbot to support users working with Odoo and the new possibilities it opens in a business context.
