Always Use Protection! The CGQ GB/GBC/GBA Collection. | CGQ+
People seem to like these collection videos, and they give me an excuse to flap my gums about video games that I like, so here we go! Making a collection video about my Game Boy games was not really on my list of things to do, but I ended up buying a bunch of box protectors for my GB, GBC, and GBA games, which means I had to take them off the shelf anyway, so might as well make a video, right?
I purchased the vast majority of Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games featured here brand new "back in the day". In fact, Harmony if Dissonance is the only boxed GBA game that I can think of that I bought used. The boxed Game Boy games primarily came from eBay, while the loose carts were mostly thrift store finds or were bought at used game shops and whatnot.
I didn't want to show all of my hardware because for the most part it's nothing special. I do have a modded Game Boy Advance with a backlit screen in it which is OK, but even with my big hands, I think I prefer the SP.

I recorded this episode with about 15 minutes of warning. What with COVID going on, my wife and I are both ALWAYS home and it has made it hard to make content. But I had the house to myself for a couple of hours, so here you go.
I made custom GB, GBC, and GBA overlays for this episode. I think they look really cool, but I will probably limit their use to CGQ+.

Listen, I'm not saying that I'm not overweight, but I think that the way this chair kind of forces me to slouch combined with the micro four thirds sensor in this GH-5 makes me look way fatter. I think I need a new chair and to switch back to my Canon 6D.
