Homemade Repeater using Radio Shack PRO 2052 Scanner and Icom IC V68
This was an old video from 2008, revised and published today because the old copy was deleted by YouTube along with my hacked and terminated YouTube account last September 26. My Homemade Repeater using the Radio Shack DX2052 Dual Trunking Scanner as the receiver, with a squelched triggered relay switch COR to trigger an Icom IC V68 portable handheld transceiver providing 5 watt output legal power for general purpose 2 meter repeater use. By using a scanner radio as receiver, cross band shall be enabled all throughout the VHF/ UHF band and even 50 mhz if you have a triple band handheld radio such as Yaesu VX 5r or 6R series!
