After burying our first party member, Wartales takes a turn for the heart. The wildlife has returned, possibly to seek vengeance. But that's nothing that a little bit of rope can't handle. In other words, it's time to make the viewership cringe at my pronunciation of three letter words. Fortunately, we also get to see just what the beasts have about them at higher levels, and that may prove to be a boon after all. Assuming I can corral their AI.
Wartales has DNA from a lot of other games, including Battle Brothers, Kenshi, and Mount and Blade. It's well worth the price right now and I'm excited to see where this game goes towards release. Intimated as hell, yes. But excited.
