Here in zone 5 our last frost date is anywhere from April 28th to May 9th. So we are right around the 12-week mark for seed starts. Most of the seeds started in this video can go out before the last frost! I will also be direct sowing some seeds as well to save time, space, and seed mix! Stay tuned for Winter Sowing! I plan to get my flowers started that way!

I'm not a master gardener or a head chef. I have success and I have failures. But I love to learn and I love to share with others. I developed a passion for gardening as well as cooking and I continue to learn new things along the way. Join me and follow along! I like to do things easily and organically if I can help it. I also like to grow the most food in the least amount of space as well as keep the cost of gardening to a minimum. I like to DIY a lot in the garden and use things that are already at my disposal. I love simplicity!
