*Bloody Idol - The Last Crusader*
This is a concept album that tells the story of a European farmer who leaves his homeland in search of fortune and glory, embarking on a medieval crusade. Through various chapters, his journey unfolds—a tale filled with loss, promises, suffering, and introspection, leading to madness, where he imagines himself as the last crusader left to defend the Holy Land. His emotions become a metaphor for what modern man experiences today, making this concept ever-relevant, where each of us can see ourselves and feel personally involved.

The album was conceived by Joey Mauro, a long-time keyboardist and composer, and keyboardist/composer for the legendary Italian prog band *Hunka Munka*, with a career spanning over three decades in pop and rock.

Crucial to the project is the contribution of the musicians involved in the recordings: Gianluca Quinto (*Solisia, DeLa Muerte*), Marcantonio Quinto (*Solisia, Hunka Munka*), Andrea Arcangeli (*DGM, Timo Tolkki*), and Ilaria Bernardini (*Rossometile*).

The vocal parts are entrusted to four different singers:
Wild Steel (*Shadows of Steel, Gabriels, Oracle Sun, Wild Steel*),
Terence Holler (*ex-Eldritch, Holler*),
Roberto Tiranti (*Labyrinth, Ken Hensley, New Trolls*), and
Dario Grillo (*Thy Majestie, Platens, Gabriels, Nightblaze*).

The album features 12 original tracks of heavy rock enriched with neoclassical, symphonic, and gothic elements, making each song appealing even to fans of more modern genres.
