After gathering free landscape assets from Unreal Market, I set out modeling the ship in Blender and re-used my old spaceX astronaut model. I modified assets from Sketchfab and Blenderkit to construct the interior of the space capsule. 3D planet MARS courtesy of NASA .Edited and rendered on Blender.
There are a lot of things I learned doing this exercise, got a better understanding of how Niagra particle effects work. Really dived deep into the workings of Sequencer and also discovered some quirks. Tweaked the environment a lot to get the reddish Mars atmosphere.
