Radiation of SMC Pentax (Takumar) vs. Americium 241
Thoriateted lens radiation vs. Am241 from smoke detector with quickly built geiger counter. I used a geiger tube with a mica end window to be able to detect alpha particles as well. As you can hear, the lens isn't nearly as active as the Am241.
