Meet Ran Peleg, Israel Consul General to Chengdu, China.
As a career diplomat in China, he spent years studying Chinese and 4 years as the Spokesman of the Israeli Embassy in Beijing.
One of his goals in Chengdu is to help apply Israeli technologies to the challenges of South West China in such fields as agriculture, water, health and education.
