If allowed, websites, applications, and extensions can send you notifications through Google Chrome. In Chrome, when a website wants to send you notifications you'll receive a pop-up in the left corner of the screen that will prompt you to Allow or Deny the request. If you've accidentally allowed or want to stop receiving notifications from a site that you've previously allowed, you can disable site notifications in the Settings of Google Chrome.
