I embarked on a barbel fishing adventure on a tiny river this summer, searching for a monster. It proved challenging, but we caught one under the 10lb mark.

After months of hospital visits and operations with a horrific arm and shoulder injury, it was just lovely to be out again.

The only problem is now, I've got to return and get a bigger one!
