Today is a very special day for the kids because they’ve come to visit grandpa on his farm and help him take care of the pig, the cow, and the chickens! It’s hard work, but it’s a lot fun!

First, the kids are going to help Granda feed the pig. They have to fill up a wheel barrow with food that’s especially good for pigs, and then shovel it into the their eating dish, called a trough!

Now it’s time to milk the cow. The kids have never done this before so grandpa is going to show them how, and then they’ll get a chance to try it all by themselves.

Next, the kids are going to help grandpa collect the eggs from the chickens. They need to put each egg carefully into their baskets so they don’t break any of them.

The kids did such a great job helping Grandpa, that he wants to do something special with them he knows they’ll enjoy.. taking a ride on his tractor while he plows the field!
